Dedicated fans of the ITV soap will remember Liv as Aaron’s (Danny Miller) adored younger sister, who, together with ex-husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), formed a tight-knit family unit during their marriage.
Liv was also married to Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), with her other storyline involving alcoholism and criminal antics. In 2022, tragedy struck during the show’s 50th anniversary special when a catastrophic storm caused a caravan to plummet onto Liv and kill her.
During Wednesday’s (October 15) episode, Aaron and Robert had spent their first night back together, but Aaron appeared to have something on his mind.
The couple debated telling the village they are a couple once more before Robert found a teddy bear in Aaron’s living room.
“It’s Liv’s, well it was”, Aaron confirmed, “She would never sleep without it. “
Aaron then confirmed Liv’s death anniversary is on Thursday, as Robert suggested they go for a drink to mark the sad day.
Actress Isobel Steele brought the role of Liv Dingle to life but bid farewell to the Dales in 2022, after a six-year stint on the show.

Reflecting on her departure, she shared her heartfelt sentiments at the time: “And that’s a wrap on Liv Dingle. Hard to put into words what this show and the people in it mean to me and how big a decision it was to leave.
“Thank you to every single person I ever worked with and to those that pushed me to be a better person and a better actor.
“Thank you to everyone who watches the show and has supported me throughout, none of it went unnoticed. Thank you to Kate Oates, Ian MacLeod and Jane Hudson.”
She wrapped up her message by bidding adieu to this chapter of her life, saying: “I love you all so much, you know who you are. The most bizarre and wonderful place to have grown up. I’m gonna miss it so much. On to the next! X.”
Now, at just 24 years old, Isobel has embarked on a fresh journey in the music industry. Earlier this year, she unveiled a trendy new hairstyle, trading in her luscious long locks for a shorter hairdo accented with a stylish fringe.
According to her Instagram, Manchester-born Isobel still considers herself an actress but appears to be focused on nurturing her musical talents in London.
As the lead singer of her own band, Little Dog Star, she has released a range of captivating tunes along with their accompanying music videos, which can be streamed on Spotify.
