Coronation Street’s Cait Fitton says ‘stay put’ as fans spot Lauren Bolton absence

Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has told fans to ‘stay put’ as they spotted her recent absence on-screen.
Those who follow the ITV soap will best know the actress for portraying Lauren Bolton on the cobbles, having made her debut back in 2022.
Viewers were first introduced to the troubled teen alongside her evil dad, Reece Bolton, who was a member of Griff Reynolds’ far-right gang, which used Lauren to befriend Max Turner, who was later turned against his community by Reece, Griff and co.
When the storyline came to a head, Lauren was seen fleeing Weatherfield but later returned, only to face a terrible few years. Lauren was focused on her son, Frankie, and turning her life around.
Or that was until she became embroiled in Betsy Swain’s drama. They have since made amends and Lauren is trying to focus on a more positive life with Frankie, bagging a job in the Rovers Return under Glenda Shuttleworth’s management.
But Corrie fans have seemingly noticed that Lauren hasn’t been seen much on-screen and as Cait took part in a Q&A on Instagram, fans were quick to ask her when she’ll be back.
As the soap star implored her followers to ask her a question, one asked: “When will we see you back on our screens?” to which Cait wrote back: “I’ve had so many lovely messages asking this question.
“It’s reassuring and so lovelyyyy to know you guys LAV Lauren as much as I do, and your support means the world.” She then confirmed: “STAY PUT, LOZZA WILL BE BEACK ON YOUR SCREENS END OF THE MONTH.”
It came after another had asked: “How’s work been?” to which she posted a selfie from her dressing room and said: “Work has been very quiet, which has its perks like having TLC time for yourself and a chance to make time to see family.”
She added: “But I am itching to get back into a routine and being busy again.”
