“She goes all the way up to 11,” actress Amy Cudden revealed in Inside Soap’s Soap Scoop podcast. “She really believes no one can take care of her family like she can—and that makes everything justifiable in her mind.”

Narcissism, Obsession… and Holiday Delusion

While Becky’s outward charm masks her chaotic motives, it’s clear she’s built a disturbing narrative in her head. Carla has already been dehumanised in her eyes, and now Costello is just another obstacle to be removed.

“Becky doesn’t like herself,” Amy shared. “Her family makes her feel just okay. That need is huge—and if something threatens that, she doesn’t see people anymore. She sees threats.”

With Carla conveniently away in Lanzarote, Becky has ramped up her attempts to win back Lisa and Betsy. Her version of Christmas? A “perfect” family moment under the tree—complete with mince pies and carol singing.
