Coronation Street War Reignites! Tracy’s Furious Betrayal Leaves Cassie Stunned and Fans Divided

Coronation Street‘s Cassie Plummer infuriates Tracy Barlow next week as she makes her presence felt at No.1. The tension between the two ladies is revisited as Tracy plots for a way to get rid of her rival.

Trouble unfolds as Cassie starts spending more time at Ken’s house, partly to be close with her boyfriend Steve McDonald. But while Ken might be happy to have her there, Tracy definitely isn’t…

“Cassie’s got some front, she really has,” our Corrie source explains. “Not content with causing mayhem amongst her own family, she’s now treating Tracy’s family home as if it was her own.”

Sick of Cassie lounging around the place, Tracy wants her rival gone. And when she overhears Tyrone and Fiz Dobbs talking about her favourite band, an idea forms in her mind.

Later, Tracy hands Cassie two tickets for a gig. She explains how much Fiz loves the band and suggests she could use them to buy her way back into Fiz’s good books.

This comes as Cassie and Fiz are both blaming each other for Tyrone falling out of his wheelchair while being left unattended at home. With Cassie made to feel unwelcome with the Dobbs clan, there’s even more opportunity for her to spend time at No.1 instead.

Will Tracy’s sneaky plan to get Cassie out of the way succeed, or has Cassie got her feet under the table?

Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone, recently spoke about the journey ahead for Tyrone after his shocking accident last month.

“I think Tyrone obviously knows that a lot of the pressure will fall on Fiz – the kids, work, the house,” Alan explained. “He’s aware of that, and I don’t think he wants to add his stress onto her shoulders.

“Tyrone always has good intentions and maybe doesn’t go about them in the right way, and I think even in this situation – as opposed to just talking to Fiz and trying to help, he goes about things in the way that he thinks best, trying to shield them from what is happening when he should be honest about how he feels.”

On the accident itself, he added: “There’s definite frustration there as to who has done this and anger that the police can’t come up with any answers. He’d like some form of justice for this accident and to at least find out who it was. That’s definitely the case for the whole family.”
