Todd is a devoted man who loves Theo with all his heart, but that love collapses in an instant when he discovers that his lover is hiding a terrible secret.

It all starts when Todd accidentally sees a series of ambiguous messages on Theo’s phone – sweet words that are not meant for him.

The feeling of betrayal makes Todd extremely angry.

He rushes out to Coronation Street, deciding to confront directly, not letting things simmer further.

But Theo, instead of being honest, tries to deny it. Words are exchanged, a fierce argument breaks out right in the middle of the crowd. Billy happens to witness the whole thing – and his face flashes with fear as if he knows something is worse than betrayal.

The scene ends with Todd’s eyes filled with tears, and the words that make viewers choke: “You didn’t just betray me, you betrayed everything I believed was true.” Audiences believe this is just the beginning of a series of tragedies that have not stopped.
