1. Charity’s lies continue to pile up

Charity is still planning to have a termination, struggling with the lies and secrecy surrounding her pregnancy now that she knows Ross Barton is the father. Desperate to cover her tracks as the appointment is imminent, Charity misleads her granddaughter Sarah Sugden over her plans for the day.

Sarah is full of excitement over the surrogacy after confirming a date for the 12-week scan, but Charity wrestles with guilt and uncertainty. If she goes ahead with the appointment, there’ll clearly be no scan in a few weeks’ time…

2. Chas has a showdown with Charity

Charity confides in Chas about her plans to end the pregnancy. Concerned Chas reckons that Charity is moving too quickly and urges her not to make any rash decisions.

Speaking her mind, Chas accuses Charity of turning an awful lie into a much bigger one if she proceeds with her plan, at least before thinking it through properly.

By the end of the episode, decisive Charity reveals her full plan of action – but has she gone through with the termination?

3. Lewis knows Vinny’s secre

Lewis Barton witnesses an awkward exchange between Gabby Thomas and Vinny Dingle at the café – it seems that the couple may just be papering over the cracks as they try to get their marriage back on track.

Once Vinny is alone, it’s revealed that Lewis knows what he’s going through after overhearing some of Nicola King’s conversations while at work.

Vinny is pleased when Lewis puts himself forward as a good person to talk to, but how will Gabby respond when she spots them hugging at the café?

4. Celia manipulates Rhona

Rhona Goskirk confides in Moira Dingle during a trip to Butler’s Farm, wondering whether she did the right thing by urging April to move out of the family home. Marlon is already struggling with not having April under their roof, but Rhona feels more conflicted over what the best way forward is.

Determined to isolate April, Celia interrupts the conversation and confidently declares that Rhona has done exactly the right thing by kicking her out. Will Rhona be fooled?

5. The Kings are on the move

The Kings rush to move in with Laurel and her family at Mulberry Cottage after a flood in their home.
