Emmerdale’s April Windsor’s had a difficult time in the Dales recently and fans have now predicted her devastating soap exit

Emmerdale fans fear that April Windsor could be set for a shock village exit.

It’s fair to say April (Amelia Flanagan) has had a dramatic few months in the Dales. Currently, she is trapped in the dangerous world of drug dealing, along with Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle).

At first, it was just Dylan working for dangerous dealer Ray (Joe Absolom). However, soon enough, April was lured into the dodgy industry and took on jobs for Ray after he decided she could be useful.

Despite wanting to get out of the criminal activities, April and Dylan are trapped and are continuing to work for Ray to pay off their ‘debt’. In reality, there is no debt as the cunning and sinister Ray has been lying to the youngsters.

Last week though, in a shocking twist, it was revealed that not only was Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) in charge of the drugs operation but she was also Ray’s adoptive mother. She ended up slapping April and warned her bad things would happen if she ever went against her.

And spoilers for next week have confirmed that things are set to take a dark turn when Ray and Celia force April to complete a new job.

After being driven to a hotel, April ends up in a room with his ‘valuable client called Tim. And it becomes clear the older man has sick intentions for the youngster.

But now, with all the drama going down in the Dales, fans reckon an exit is looming for April – who made her debut in 2014 – after fans spotted on a ‘clue’. Recently, actress Amelia Flanagan uploaded photos of her professional headshot to social media.

However, her followers were quick to interpret it as a sign that the star could eyeing up brand new projects away from the ITV soap, as actors typically update their headshots when they are looking to pursue new roles.

“Does this mean you’re leaving Emmerdale?” said one person. Someone else added: “Please don’t be leaving.” A third worried follower chimed in and declared: “I thought that.” What’s more, soap fans have also ‘worked out’ April’s heartbreaking exit storyline in what would be a sad prison twist.

On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one person wrote: “Maybe April will get sent to prison because of Ray? She’s due a break with all the storylines she’s had.” Another added: “I completely agree.” A third agreed: “I think she will get caught eventually.”
