Coronation Street viewers say the same thing about heartfelt scene
Soap fans “loved” the special moment between the mum and daughter
Coronation Street viewers said the same thing about one heartfelt scene on the soap. Last week, fans were pleased to see the iconic return of Eva Price. Earlier this year, it was confirmed Catherine Tyldesley would be reprising her role as Eva after seven years away from the soap.

Catherine’s final scenes aired in August 2018 but the 41-year-old is now back on set filming in Weatherfield. Actors Aaron McCusker and Pauline McLynn arrived alongside Catherine as Eva’s partner Ben Driscoll and his interfering mother Maggie.
The Driscolls arrived on the cobbles with a bang as the new owners of the Rovers Return. Ben has two sons, Ollie and Will, and Eva has one daughter, Susie.
The family were thrown into chaos when their son Will failed to show up in Weatherfield after a school trip. Wednesday’s episode saw Eva break down in tears, worried for their son’s livelihood.
Noticing her mum upset on the stairs, Susie Price came along to offer support. She asked: “Are you alright mum?” Eva replied: “I don’t know”, before asking for a hug.
The mum and daughter shared a heartwarming moment as they embraced one another sat on the bottom step of the stairs.
Fans rushed to social media after the emotional scene. On X, one said: “Susie and Eva, that was so cute!” A second added: “This Eva and Susie scene.”
Others added red love heart emojis, while another said: “Love that moment between Susie and Eva.”

Fans may remember Eva gave birth to Susie in 2018. At the time, Eva made a deal with Toyah after her surrogate had a miscarriage. Eva arranged to give her baby to Toyah and Peter, who couldn’t have children of their own. Toyah even made a fake birth certificate so Peter wouldn’t find out.
Susie is named after Peter Barlow’s late sister, Susan Barlow. However, a whirlwind storyline saw Eva decide to keep her baby and the mum and daughter left Weatherfield to move to France in 2018.
But they are now back on the cobbles and Susie has made a powerful debut as a strong-minded seven-year-old who isn’t afraid to say whatever she thinks.
From funny one-liners with Brian and George to heartwarming scenes with her two aunties, Leanne and Toyah, Susie Price has already made her mark on Coronation Street.
Fans may not be aware that actress Aurora Bradshaw is related to a familiar face on the cobbles. Aurora’s brother Bobby has appeared on Coronation Street as Jake Windass since August 2018.
He is the son of Gary Windass and Izzy Armstrong and he now lives with Gary, Maria and Liam.
