Coronation Street star in Strictly Come Dancing admission as fans question whereabouts
Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has spoken about a potential interest in taking part in Strictly Come Dancing as fans have been questioning her whereabouts on the cobbles.
Fans know the actress for playing Lauren Bolton in the ITV soap, having made her debut back in 2022 as part of storyline which saw a far-right gang, which he father, Reece, was part of grooming vulnerable teenager, Max Turner.
The rest, as they say, is history and while Lauren eventually got away from her dad’s influence, she did find herself in another troubling situation as she ended up being groomed by dastardly solicitor Joel Deering.
After going missing and being presumed dead, Lauren returned to Weatherfield, pregnant with Joel’s child. The truth eventually came out about Lauten’s escape, which came after she was physically attacked by Joel and left for dead.
Eventually, Lauren was focused on her son, Frankie, who fell ill after he was born, and has since been seen turning her life around after Joel’s death, which saw her cleared of his murder.
More recently, Corrie fans have seemingly noticed that Lauren hasn’t been seen much on-screen. But Cait has taken part in a Q&A on Instagram, where fans were quick to ask her when she’ll be back.

She was asked: “When will we see you back on our screens?” to which Cait wrote back: “I’ve had so many lovely messages asking this question.
“It’s reassuring and so lovelyyyy to know you guys LAV Lauren as much as I do, and your support means the world.” She then confirmed: “STAY PUT, LOZZA WILL BE BEACK ON YOUR SCREENS END OF THE MONTH.”
Cait was also asked: “What TV shows are you watching right now?” which is when the soap star gave Strictly a mention. “I’m a mega Strictly fan!!” she confessed.
She went on: “Always been a dream of mine to take part in this show (as well as Corrie). So stay true to my roots and you bet i’m tuning in every Saturday and Sunday to watch my Strictly.”
