The actress is best known for playing Chas Dingle on the ITV soap, making her debut way back in 2002. And it’s fair to say it didn’t take her long to become a firm favourite with fans.
Over the years, the Woolpack manager has played a part in several big storylines. From her many failed relationships in the village to a heartbreaking cancer battle, Chas’ time in the Dales has not been short of drama.
She was also involved in the Valentine’s limo crash that saw three villagers confirmed dead – Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson).
While in more recent episodes, Chas has been by beau Liam Cavanagh’s Jonny McPherson) side after he underwent tests to see if he had prostate cancer. Fortunately, the tests came back clear, a relief for the couple.
Away from the long-running ITV soap, Lucy is a proud mum to three daughters, whom she shares with her former partner Rudi Coleano. Her eldest, Lola, was born in 2005 and fast forward to April 2017, and Lucy gave birth to twin girls, called Missy and Betsy.
And with Emmerdale having a devoted fan base, Lucy is no stranger to keeping her 32.1k Instagram followers updated on her day-to-day life.

And last week, she left fans over the moon when she revealed the latest arrivals. In a video shared on her Instagram, Lucy could be seen showing off the pups while cuddling them.
