All Coronation Street spoilers next week as Carla’s fears deepen

Health scares, cheating accusations, ex’s at war and a love triangle…what else would you expect from a week in Coronation Street?! Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) pushes Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) over to the dark side as their abusive relationship continues to darken.

Carla Connor (Alison King), meanwhile, is sickened by the prospect of leaving her fiancée, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) alone with her not-dead ex wife, Becky (Amy Cudden) while she takes a trip to Ireland.

Cassie Plummer’s (Claire Sweeney) lackadaisical behaviour leaves Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) in a bad way, Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) continue to battle, Bethany Platt’s (Lucy Fallon) first day back at work goes seriously awry and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) returns home.

Monday, October 13

George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is confused when Todd, panicked over the results of his bowel cancer screening announces he’s going to start planning his funeral. With some nudging from Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins), he snoops into Todd’s email and, learning about his upcoming hospital appointment, attends with him.

After organising a lucrative contract with newcomer Pete (Andrew Hayden-Smith) alongside Gary Windass (Mikey North), Theo confronts Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) about what’s going on with Todd.

When Billy receives a phone call with an update from Todd, Theo bristles and begins to knock back shots.

Cassie leaves Tyrone unattended while doing his exercises, visiting Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and accidentally drinking Ken Barlow’s (William Roache) last bottle of wine from his wedding to Deidre (Anne Kirkbride). Upon returning home, she’s horrified to find Tyrone lay on the floor in pain.

When Abi texts Kevin, asking him if he’d like to babysit Alfie, Kevin is elated, but his angry demeanour when attempting to collect him convinces Abi to cancel their plans. Though she promises Kevin he can spend another day with him, he breaks down.

Elsewhere, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) vows to wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) that he won’t see Trisha Pinkerton (Anita Booth) again and after informing Lisa that she’s finally sold the Rovers, Carla panics about leaving her alone with Becky while she heads to Ireland, leaving Lisa to try and reassure her fiancée.

Wednesday, October 15

A hungover Todd returns home to Theo, having spent the night at Billy’s, but as he pleads forgiveness, Pete emerges from the bedroom.

As the two come to blows, accusing the other of cheating, Todd finally reveals all about his health scare.

Theo remains unrepentant leading Todd to kick him out. As Theo tries to win his partner around later, there’s flashes of the old Todd as he takes the opportunity to get some revenge.

Becky scores a win when Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) asks her to model some of her designs for a college project, leading Lisa to join in and the three pose for more pictures. When Betsy uploads the recordings to social media, though, Becky’s wracked with anxiety at the thought of people recognising her.

Elsewhere on the Street, Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) employs Bethany as a nail tech and she comes to the rescue when David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) gets trapped in a lift and can’t make Shona Platt’s (Julia Goulding) baby scan, Cassie and Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) clash over what happened with Tyrone and Abi accuses Kevin of sabotaging her chance at a new job

Friday, October 17

It’s Bethany’s first day at the salon and she’s immediately put in charge of Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan). When a client tries to flog them some ‘miracle’ pills, Hope’s impressed, though Bethany is quick to assure her that they’re a con.

When they go missing, she’s quick to point the finger at Hope. As Bethany tries to search her, her stoma bag splits.

Lisa and Becky come to blows when they learn that Betsy has been arrested. Confused Betsy learns during her interview that she’s accused of damaging a police car, resisting arrest and attacking a police officer by DI Costello (Daon Broni), who warns Becky of worse to come should she not disappear again.

When Asha returns home, clearly in a fragile state, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) is cut up, while Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) thinks that someone ought to tell Naomi (Melissa Batchelor) just how damaging her actions were.

It’s a case of strange bedfellows as Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) teams up with former nemesis Cassie as they plot to get the latter out of No.1 and back home.
